Salt-N-Pepa said it best.
I wrote this piece as an independent research thesis for my senior level capstone course. We were instructed to write about a faith-based topic, as was typical at my private, Christian university. So, of course, I took my own liberties by discussing sex as it is presented by the church.
I interviewed over thirty individuals as well as distributed a survey via social media so as to include all demographics. I also sprinkled in some pop-culture and something about you, yes you, being a chewed up piece of gum.
Film Criticism:
In this piece I analyze David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Patty Jenkins's Monster through a feminist lens. Both of these women subvert the role of voyeurism--showcasing the complex layers that had been missing from women in cinema.
This piece came to fruition in my attempt to marry my writing degree with my science degree.
I analyzed a short story by Lesley Arimah through the lens of Darwinian theory. I bit off more than I could chew in the time allotted for this piece, as no one else had written on this short story given its newer emergence in the writing world. Nonetheless, I'm very proud of tackling a topic that was never thought of and unorthodox. I plan on extending it further/cleaning up some junior-level Hannah errors.
Ahh, yes. My correspondence with King Solomon--the king of erotica.

This letter was an assignment that actually spurred the idea for "Let's Talk about Sex." Though this piece is creative and playful, it also pays respect and homage to the beauty of sex, poetry, and literature's impression on modern culture. If you don't read any of the above, read this.
